James "Patrick" McGuinness

November 1, 1991 - December 31, 2022

James “Patrick” McGuinness, 31, North Salem, IN, unexpectedly passed away on December 31, 2022.

He was a 2010 graduate of Ben Davis High School. He has worked many years in the construction industry as an iron worker.

Patrick was a great son, father, fiancé, relative and friend. He loved to laugh and joke around and was very loyal to all who knew him. He was a very hard worker and took pride in his work. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, ax and knife throwing as well as relaxing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son - James “Issac” McGuinness, Fianceé - Rachel Holder, Father - James J. McGuinness, Stepmother -Sherry Osborne, Mother - Rhonda Smith, Stepfather - Scott Smith, Brothers – Joel McGuinness, Timothy Wagers, Travis Bristow, Sisters- Shelby Smith, Sharri Bristow, Grandmother – Dorothy Young, Step Grandfather-Jeffry Smith, Step Grandmother- Carol Smith along with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfathers – Edward McGuinness and Donnell Lonberger, Sr., Grandmother – Shirley Lonberger, Step Grandfather - John Young and Brother – Myles “Milo” Wall.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be announced at a later date with the information to be posted on the Porter and Hunt Funeral Home and Crematory website.
