Lone Meyer, age 82, of Ft. Myers Beach passed away January 26th, 2023. She was born on December 4th,1940 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Lone is preceded in death by husband Carl Meyer, boyfriend George Ankarlo, and daughters Susan Shaffer and Tina Springman.
She is survived by children: Mike Shaffer (Danielle), Janice Heyboer (Ron), Carl Meyer (Jacqueline), and Chris Meyer (Carrie); grandchildren Donny Shaffer (Libby), Chris Shaffer (Katy), Jessica Shaffer (Jack), Lukas Springman (Lauren), Tara Heyboer (Tamron), Neil Heyboer, Hannah Heyboer, Carl Meyer, Scott Meyer, Andrew Meyer, and Rebecca Ward (Andrew); and many great-grandchildren.
Lone had many friends who meant the world to her: Darlene Flowtow (Eric and Tyler), Pat Carlson (and her daughters), Kathy Yatuni-Cobb (John), Jacque Morelock, Nancy Tyler, Sue Meyer, and many more.
She most recently lived in Ft. Myers Beach where she enjoyed hanging out with friends and feeding/caring for any animal that crossed her path. Lone lived life to the fullest. She would do anything for her friends and family. Lone made everyone who knew her laugh, cry, and enjoy all the stories she shared.
