The United Way of West Central Indiana Go All In Day is happening June 24 with hundreds of volunteers completing projects for nonprofits, grassroots organizations, and community groups throughout Central Indiana and you can help.
In Putnam County, help is still needed for three projects:
- Volunteers will install Putnam County’s first Born Learning Trail at Big Walnut Sports Park in Greencastle. Developed by United Way, the trail features 10 signs meant to encourage early childhood learning. Volunteers are also needed to weed, plant, and mulch the park’s flower beds. The project is sponsored by the City of Greencastle and Jedele Enterprises.
- Volunteers will prepare walls for murals that will be part of the upcoming Putnam County Mural Festival. People are needed to scrape, power-wash, and paint base coats on walls in Roachdale and Fillmore.
- Volunteers will refresh the Putnam County Library by washing walls, wiping down surfaces, dusting and tidying shelves.
