Benita Lou Phillips

Benita Lou Phillips, 62, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Born June 8, 1959 in Greencastle, she was daughter of Leon R. and Virginia (Pell) Phillips and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Benita had worked in customer service in various restaurants in Greencastle. She was a former member of the Seelyville Pentacostal Church and attended Hannah St. Baptist Church in Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by her Father.

Benita is survived by her mother, Virginia Phillips; a brother, Ed Phillips; sisters, Linda Evans and Melody (Tim) Bullard; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 2nd from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
