Donnie Kaelber

Donald “Donnie” Kaelber Jr., 53, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, October 1, 2021 at his home.

Donnie was born on December 22, 1967, in Brazil, Indiana, the son of Donald Kaelber Sr. and Sherry (Head) Kaelber.

On February 15, 1992, he married his best friend and love of his life Lisa (Ward) Kaelber. They had three beautiful children Shaylee (Ward) Stantz and husband Kevin, Brayton Kaelber and wife Shelby, Landon Kaelber and fiancé Kristin Tippin and their children gave them the most wonderful gifts to spoil, Hunter Fitzpatrick, Brynlee Stantz, Quinn Kaelber, and Calvin Kaelber.

He was in the trucking industry the majority of his life, but he could do it all. His greatest joys were seeing his children grow up to be the wonderful people they are and being beside them every step of the way. He was our champion and our world.

His family meant the world to him and he loved them all deeply. Along with his wife and children, he leaves behind his brothers, John Kaelber and wife Annie, Rodney Kaelber and wife Deanna, aunts and uncles: Anita McCracken (Bill), Norma Head (Carol), Ray Head, Roy Head (Teresa), Fran York, Harry Mac Kaelber, Randy Kaelber (Candy), cousins, Joey McCracken (Vickie), Jared McCracken, Eric Head (Andrea), Chrissy Cesinger (Kevin), Jason Kaelber (Natasha), Melissa Kaelber, Josh Kaelber, April Kaelber, Linda Shelton, and honorary cousin Gary Gibson, nieces and nephews, Allie, Nick, Katie, Courtney, Tyler, Eli, Jayda, Jaylyn, Reagan, brother-in-law Jonathan Ward (Jamie), mother and father-in-law Max and Jackie Ward and many great nieces, nephews, and some of the greatest friends a person could ask for – he truly loved you all.

Graveside services will be at Calcutta Cemetery, on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 1:00pm with Pastor Doug Parkey officiating.
