Genny Eskew

February 17, 1942 - October 7, 2021

Sue Geneive “Genny” Eskew, 79, of Brazil, Indiana went to be with the Lord while staying at The Waters of Martinsville, on October 7, 2021 following a lengthy illness.

Genny was born on February 17, 1942, in Hilham, Tennessee, the daughter of William A. “Arlie” and Vadie “Olyne” (Dulworth) Abney. After graduating from high school she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She married Richard “Rick” Eskew on November 4, 1984.

She was preceded in death by both parents Arlie and Olyne Abney, a son Phillip Webster, and one sister, Anita.

Survivors include her husband Richard “Rick” Eskew; a sister Carol Dixon (Merle) of Greencastle; a brother David Abney of Tennessee; children: Lorrie Stephenson of Indiana and Paula Benedict of Tennessee as well as 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters: Wilda of Kentucky, Kathy of Kentucky, and Teresa of Tennessee, and a host of extended family members.

At this time no services have been chosen. Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home in Brazil, Indiana.
