Troy Allen Light

Troy Allen Light, 65, of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021.

He was born Oct. 16, 1956, at Indianapolis, to the late Harold and Evelyn (Wilson) Light.

Troy graduated from Speedway High School in 1976. He married the love of his life, Cindy Jane Ross, on May 14, 1983. He worked at MCL Cafeterias and Crown Cork & Seal. He retired from LSC Communications in 2020. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, models and matchbox cars. Since being retired, he could be found relaxing. Troy was known as a hard worker who loved his family. He loved animals and animals loved him, especially his kitten Shadow.

Troy is survived by his wife; son Kyle (Jessi) Light; three grandchildren, Claudia Caldwell and Drew and Alex Sells; three brothers, Mark (Cindy) Light, Craig (Billi) Light and Brian (Nora) Light; sister Pamela (Clark) Brooks; sister-in-law Debra Light; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and  brother Keith Light.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, on Friday, Oct. 22 from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
