Melissa Lea Morris

Melissa Lea Morris, 45 of Terre Haute, died October 16, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN. She was born March 4, 1976 in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of Larry Johnson and Joyce Karr Johnson. Melissa had been a traveling phlebotomist in the past. She and her husband Michael Morris were currently working for Midwest Bartending School, serving at many events in Indianapolis and the surrounding area.

Melissa, who was also known as Missy Harshberger in the past, was well known for her beauty, her love for fun times and her love for family.

She is survived by her children, Conlee Turner, Collins Turner, Mason Turner, Gracie Gress, Kylee Gress, and her daughter who died in infancy, Gabriella Gress; step-daughter, Jalyn Morris; the fathers of her children, Clayton Turner and Stan Gress; siblings, Art DuCharm, Mandy Vernon, Jackie DuCharm, Kim Bishop, Deanne Littleton; her mother Joyce Johnson and many friends.

Services will be held Saturday at 1:00pm at the Lawson-Miller Chapel. Visitation will be from 12-1.
