Bonnie Jean Shouse

JULY 12, 1931 – OCTOBER 26, 2021

Bonnie Jean Shouse, 90, of Reelsville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Born July 12, 1931 in Mason City, Iowa, she was the daughter of George and Edna (Hargeshiner) Johnson and a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Bonnie had retired from the Indiana State Farm Correctional Facility where she had worked as the head payroll clerk for several years. She was a member of Big Walnut Baptist Church, the Red Hat Society and loved to quilt, read, travel and be with family.

She is survived by her sons, Mike (Patty) Shouse, Jack (Martha) Shouse, and Jay (LeAnne) Shouse; sister, Shirley Lundy; brother, Marvin (Helen) Johnson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tommy Shouse; and sister, Mildred Tannehill.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, IN. Interment will follow at the Putnamville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 31st from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home and prior to services at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 PM.
