Shirley M. Wolford

Shirley M. Wolford of Crawfordsville passed away Sunday afternoon, Oct. 24, 2021, at home. She was 71.

Shirley worked as a housekeeper and laundry aide at Ben-Hur Nursing Home.

Born July 17, 1950, at Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of Edward Jennings Woody and Carlena Bell Woody.

She was loved and will be missed by her family. They include: daughter Tonia Wolford Zuk; son Nicholas Wolford; three brothers, Luther Williams, Jerry Woody and Jesse Woody; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Rose, Carol and Emmajean; brother Jimmy; and great-granddaughter Bricelyan “Monkey” Hamblin.

Cremation arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home. Her ashes will be taken to Ohio and placed with her family there.
