Joseph F. Megali

November 9, 1958 - October 22, 2021

Joseph F. Megali, 62, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on October 22, 2021 following an extended illness.

Joe was born on November 9, 1958, in Philladelphia, Pennsylvania the son of James Anthony and Mary “Penny” Ann (Beaver) Megali. He graduated from Bishop Newman High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1980 as a Voice Radio Operator. After moving to Indiana, he began working as a truck driver for Morris Trucking and then he worked for Great Dane Trailers. He retired after 15 years of service to the company.

Joe loved to help others and loved to keep himself busy by “tinkering” or working as a backyard mechanic. He loved working on cars and most recently on mopeds and was known to his friends as “Moped Joe”.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Penny Megali.

Survivors include his daughter Carissa Stuckey and husband Matt of Brazil; son Anthony Megali and wife Megan; grandchildren: Brynlee Clarke, Camden Clarke, Adrielle Stuckey, Deklen Stuckey, Tyler Megali, and Blake Megali; brothers: James Megali and wife Luisa of Philadelphia, Christopher Megali of Delaware, and Richard Megali of Florida as well as many extended family members and friends.

Memorial services are planned for a later date.

French Funeral Home, in Brazil, has been entrusted with his care.
