Betty Jane McKimmy

JANUARY 26, 1920 – DECEMBER 6, 2021

Betty Jane McKimmy, 101, of Elmhurst, Illinois and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. She was born on January 26, 1920, in Terre Haute, to James and Grace (Temple) Crooke. Betty is survived by her sister, Mary Lee Brumfield; her son, Richard Foulke and wife, Lucinda; her daughter, Susan Hicks; by grandchildren: Mary Jane, Wayne Hicks and wife, Diane; Brion Foulke; Lauren Lindle, MD and husband, Nathanial; Merryn Young and husband, Jason; and great-grandchildren: Caleb and Summer Lindle. Betty will be interred with her husband of 16 years, George E. McKimmy (married 1994–2010) at Roselawn Memorial Park. She survived previous husbands: Paul Jackson (married 1969–1986) and Arley Wayne Foulke (married 1943–1967). Her 100th birthday party had wonderful music and much dancing which she loved! Besides dancing, she enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, and creating many beautiful needle points. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Terre Haute. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 11th at Roselawn Funeral Home. A graveside ceremony will be held immediately following visitation.
