Robert (Bob) Eugene Tryon, age 79, passed away quietly at his home in Nashville, Indiana on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Bob was the son of Eugene Albert Tryon and Anita Mae (Rigney) Tryon. He was born September 23, 1942 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Bob was a graduate of Gerstmeyer Technical High School and received his Bachelor and Master Degrees from Indiana State University. With a major in Industrial Education, Bob taught 13 years at Edinburgh Community Jr/Sr High School at Edinburgh, Indiana and became the Vocational Director.

Bob retired from Purina after 25 years of hard work and dedication.

Bob was an avid pheasant hunter and enjoyed his trips with his hunting buddies throughout the Midwest. He also enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and had a passion for woodworking and traveling with his family.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Mae (Leach) Tryon and his son Chad Robert Tryon (Heather Turpin) of Hamilton, Ohio. He is also survived by his sister, Jeanenne Secrest (Pat) of Terre Haute, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 11am - 1pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Memorial service will begin at 1pm with a graveside to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

The Family of Bob asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and the Dementia Society of America in his name.
