Odis Allen Pittman

Odis Allen Pittman, 69, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Union Hospital, on January 12, 2022.

Odis was born on June 28, 1952, in Gary, Indiana, the son of Odis Jackson and Emely Rose (Burns) Pittman. Odis worked doing “odd jobs” and construction work for most of his life. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his friends and family.

Odis was preceded in death by his father Odis Jackson Pittman and a brother Michael Wayne Pittman.

Odis is survived by his mother Emely Rose Pletcher; two children: Lillie Marie Hines and Frank O’Dell Pittman; siblings: Eunice Mae Pittman Vinni (Richard), Robert E. Pittman (Donna), Larry Pittman (Anna), Vickie Sikora (Christopher), and Darcy Brown (Marvin Jr.); as well as several extended family members and friends.


Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Services will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastors Rob Pittman and Terry Gobin officiating.
