Carol Minnick

Carol Minnick, 64 of Poland, passed away February 3, 2022, at 12:56 am at I.U. Health in Bloomington, IN. following a brief illness.

Carol was born July 25, 1957, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Milton Law and Lawana Chandler Law. She graduated from Franklin High School.

On May 29, 1976, Carol was united in marriage to Bobby Gene Minnick, he survives.

Carol was a member of the Golden Circle Club centered in Reelsville. This ladies group enjoyed fellowship together for a number of years. Carol was a creative lady, and she developed a talent for photography. She enjoyed photography in nature and especially liked going to Goose Pond in southern Indiana. She took pictures of birds, wildlife, and nature. She was always ready with two cameras with her at all times to be able to capture the perfect photo of nature or pictures of her loving family. She enjoyed taking pictures of her beloved family. Her family and her faith were the center of her life. She was known as a prayer warrior and was devoted to her prayer time.

Survivors include her loving husband Bobby Minnick of Poland; children, Bobby Lee Minnick and wife Trisha of Indianapolis, Shane Minnick and wife Kathy of Fillmore, and Mariah Nave and husband Tyler of Poland; grandchildren, Jasmine Maxstead (Logan), Steven Minnick, Wyatt Minnick, Lily Minnick, Colleen Minnick, Kylie Minnick, and Kyra Nave; one great-grandson, Paul Maxstead; one sister Gayle Roberts (Kenny) of Columbus; three brothers, Mike Law (Deana), Morgantown, Lynn Law (Sylvia) of Columbus, and Ken Law (Lucy) of Morgantown; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be held Wednesday, at 1:00pm at the Lawson-Miller Chapel. Burial will follow at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11-1.
