Stanley Doyle Clover

DECEMBER 30, 1934 – MARCH 6, 2022

Stanley Doyle Clover, 87, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Born December 30, 1934 to the late Leslie Doyle and Helen (Gates) Clover in Pierceton, IN. He was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1953”.

Stanley graduated on February 28, 1962 from the National Radio Institute in Washington D.C. for electronics in radio and television and from the Industrial Training Institute in Chicago, IL as an electronic technician on May 4, 1964.

He was a veteran having served in the United States Army.

Stanley retired from IBM, Greencastle, where he had worked for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Phyllis Clover; brothers, James and Robert Clover; sister, Janice Marie Butler; and sister-in-law, Patricia Clover.

Stanley is survived by his companion of 30 years Lucille Cox.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the Forest Hill Cemetery with interment to follow. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
