Howard Harry McAnulty

Howard Harry McAnulty, 93, of Ladoga passed away peacefully on the morning of April 26, 2022, at Majestic Care in Avon.

He was born Nov. 6, 1928, to Harry E. and Sadie E. (Hayes) McAnulty. He married Eleanor Louise Hicks on March 22, 1952, at the Ladoga Christian Church. She preceded him in death.

Howard graduated from New Ross High School with the class of 1948. He proudly served our country in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division. Upon returning home he worked for RR Donnelley and Sons in Crawfordsville for 41 years until retiring. Howard was a member of the Whitesville Christian Church and a volunteer firefighter for the town of Ladoga. He enjoyed farming, collecting Model T cars, antique tractors, horse back riding, racing motorcycles and canoe racing.

He is survived by his children, Rhonda (John) Maynor, Ryan Howard (Kim) McAnulty and Roxie Annette (Tim) Terry; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at noon Saturday, April 30 at Whitesville Christian Church, 3603 S. Ladoga Road, Crawfordsville. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
