Uelline Jackson

AUGUST 29, 1929 – JUNE 9, 2022

Uelline Jackson, 92, of Greencastle, formerly of Springfield, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

Born August 29, 1929 in Springfield, KY, the daughter of John and Nancy Ann (Pile) Carney and was a graduate of Springfield High School. She married Early Jackson on June 12, 1948 in Springfield, KY.

Uelline was a homemaker and worked with her husband on the family farm. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Earley “Jack” Jackson; son Ray Thomas Jackson; brothers, Leon, Garland, J.L., Charles, Donald, & Howard Carney; sisters, Elizabeth Rose, Charlotte Janes, Margaret Hardin, Ella Mae Morris, & twin Jewell Lawson.

Uelline is survived by her son, Rex (Jennifer) Jackson; daughter Carol Darlene McGaughey; brother Billy (Pat) Carney; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Jackson; grandchildren, Scott Jackson, Brandon (Jenny) McGaughey, Kylee (David) Clodfelter, Garrett Jackson, & Brent McGaughey; great grandchildren Grace Clodfelter, Eula Jackson and Laiken Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Hebron Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home on Monday.
