Robert Alan Nichols

Robert A. Nichols, 84, of Cloverdale, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022.

Born May 17, 1938 in Greencastle, he was the son of Hansel and Merl (Parker) Nichols. He was a graduate of Belle Union High School.

He was a veteran having served in the United States Army National Guard.

Bob had retired from IBM and was a lifelong farmer, serving as past President of the Farmers Union.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Carol A. Nichols.

Bob is survived by his son Rodney (Jennifer) Nichols and grandson Ross (Jordan) Nichols.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Interment will follow.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
