Honey Michelle Walters, 14, passed away August 6, 2022 at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Honey was born September 23, 2007 to Michael Jason Walters and Tammie Bellew in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Honey attended Clay City Middle School where she was a percussionist in the band. She was very outgoing and never met a stranger. Honey was a spunky little tomboy. She enjoyed riding her bike, camping, fishing, riding horses, hanging out with her friends, and spending time outdoors. Her true passions included little kids, animals, baking, and helping people in general. Honey is continuing to help others through organ donation. She is a true hero.
Honey is survived by her parents, Michael Jason Walters and Tammy Terrell, three sisters, Wynter Walters, Kaylee Bray, Katy Bray, two brothers, Jarrett Richardson (Taylor Bell), and Denton Bray, grandparents, Terry and Lynne Stoll, Doris Bellew, Glen and Hattie Terrell, and Enis Slater.
Honey is preceded in death by her grandparents, Larry Williams and Judy Slater.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 from 11-2 P.M. at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 301 E. 8th Street in Clay City. A funeral service will begin at 2 P.M. Burial will follow at Olive Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
