Roy Martin

Roy Dean Martin, 53, of Terre Haute passed away August 11, 2022. He was born February 11, 1969 in Brazil, Indiana, the son of David (Peanut) and Hazel Arlene Martin.

Roy graduated from Northview High School in 1988. Roy worked as a plumber and in the construction business. He was avid fisherman, golfer, loved playing in pool tournaments, and mushroom hunting. Roy was a member of the American Legion Post #2. In addition to his parents Roy was preceded in death by his sisters Deborah June Jones and Mary Ellen Batchelor, two nieces, Tara Renee and Vicki Lynn.

Survivors include his loving companion Christina Timberman of Brazil, children, David Joshua Martin of Brazil, Haley Yocom (Kyle), Danny Timberman, and Jonathon Timberman, all of Brazil, one grandson Jayce Martin, siblings, Beverly Sue Taylor (Pete) of Brazil, Allen Dale Martin (Bea) of Bloomfield, Jean Ann Ervin (Larry) of Martinsville, David Douglas Martin (Pam) of Brazil, many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews as well as many extended family members and friends. He is also survived by a very special friend, Tim Britton of Terre Haute, as well as his four-legged best friend, Krokus.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 17th from 11-2 at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil. A service will begin at 2 P.M. officiated by Pastor Jeff Bridgewater. Burial will follow at Clear Run Cemetery in Bridgeton.
