Alice Anne McKeehan, 90, of Bainbridge passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville.

Anne was born in Greencastle on July 18, 1932 the daughter of Archie Ellis and Beryl Leda (O’Hair) Allen, and was a graduate of Danville High School. Anne earned her BA from Indiana State University and her Master’s Degree in Education from DePauw University.

Mrs. McKeehan was a teacher for North Putnam Community Schools. She was a former member of Brick Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a member of DAR, North Putnam Teachers Association, and Eastern Star. She volunteered at the Putnam County Reality Store, the Putnam County Museum, and Florida State Park System where she volunteered more than 25 years. Anne loved going to garage sales, traveling, reading, bird watching, going to the beach and attending the Indianapolis 500.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Wallace Eugene “Gene” McKeehan; her daughter, Marsha Davidson, (David); two grandchildren, Drew Davidson, (Josh Holden), and LeeAnne Davidson; a great grandson, Neziah Holden; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her step-mother, Fern Allen.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. in Brick Chapel Cemetery on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. A memorial gathering will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the cemetery.
