Jerry Gene Long

Jerry Gene Long has been reunited with his beloved parents, George and Darlene (Craig) Long, and brother Larry. Jerry was proud to have been a lifelong Ladoga resident, graduating from Southmont Class of 1977.

Jerry is survived by daughter Abby “Abra” Hooley-Long; partner Cindy Hooley; cousins, Tim (Diane) Rodgers and Diane (Roger) Perry; and three special companions, Molly, Otis, Willie.

Jerry will be remembered as a kind soul, glad to face each day simply enjoying the small pleasures life had to offer. You would always hear him say, “Howdy Howdy.”

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 at Ladoga Cemetery, with Pastor Robert Vice officiating. Servies & Morgan Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
