DeLores Ann Woods

DeLores Ann Woods, 75 of Brazil, passed away September 19, 2022, at 9:45pm at Signature Healthcare in Terre Haute. She had failing health for several years.

She was born August 25, 1947, in Parke County, the daughter of Orville and Viola Wetnight Summer. She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1965.

DeLores worked at Columbia Enamel in Terre Haute for several years, and last worked as a bartender at the VFW #1127. She enjoyed watching TV, crafting, minions, and hummingbirds.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert Wayne Newport.

Survivors include her daughter, DeAnna Newport of Rockville; grandchildren, Deborah Jones, and James Watson; brothers, Fred Summers and Bill Summers; sisters, Roseanna Waggle and Leah Stough; former son in law, Shane Jones and other extended family.

Cremation will take place with a wake to be held at a later date.
