Phyllis M. Wells, aged 78, passed from this life on September 21, 2022. Born on July 26, 1944, her parents were Charles and LaVerne (Phillips) Wells (preceded in death).

Phyllis is survived by her brothers, Marvin (Gerri) Wells, Ronald (Carol) Wells, Charles (Marcia) Wells, Allen Wells, her sister, Joyce (Randy) Whybrew, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Phyllis was, also, preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Ardell, and brother-in law, Bob Ardell; sister-in-law, Candice Wells, and a nephew, Derrick Wells.

She was a graduate of the Greencastle High School. Phyllis was a faithful employee and worked many years for P. R. Mallory until its closing, Low Bill Grocery and F. B. Distro.

Fondly known as her “Family’s Bingo Lady”, she enjoyed her loving family, reading, and working with ceramics.

Graveside rites will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Coatesville Cemetery, Coatesville, IN. Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, that friends and family may give a monetary gift to their choice of charity.
