Kate Vermillion

JULY 9, 1949 – OCTOBER 20, 2022

Kate Vermillion, age 73, of West Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Kate was born in El Paso, Texas on July 9, 1949 to Perry and Edna Faye (Cowen) Humphrey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, John Paul Vermillion; her sons, Neil Vermillion and Glen Vermillion (Sheri Vermillion). She is also survived by her siblings: Perry Humphrey (Beverly Humphrey), and Doris Mills.

Kate was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church in West Terre Haute. She enjoyed cooking, movies, family, reading, shopping, hot tea, cold ice cream, and music.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Perry and Edna Faye (Cowen) Humphrey, and her sister Rena Humphrey.

Kate will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park. There are no services scheduled at this time.
