Pauline Royer

Pauline Y. Royer, 87 of Brazil, passed away November 2, 2022, at 11:50 pm at Cloverleaf Healthcare Facility surrounded by her family. She was born April 6, 1935, in Ashboro, Indiana, the daughter of Roy P. Moss and Mae Elizabeth Miles Moss. She graduated from Ashboro High School.

 

On May 24, 1953, Pauline was united in marriage to Aron Royer. Together they owned and operated Royer Realty, with Pauline serving as Secretary. Pauline also owned Mee & Ewe Tea Room and Gift Shop on National Avenue in Brazil for over 15 years. She last worked in retail for Macy’s Department Store at the Mall in Terre Haute for 14 years. Pauline enjoyed collecting bird houses, was a Jeff Gordon Fan and most importantly, she loved family gatherings. She had a talent for decorating her home with primitives and collectables. She also worked in her yard and flower beds with great care.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Aron Royer in 2017; her brother, John M. Moss; granddaughter Natalie Hayes and two sons Darren Royer and Donnell K. Royer.

 

Survivors include her children, Darrell and Annette Royer of Centerpoint, IN, and Darla Hayes and Terry of Brazil, IN; grandchildren, Jacob Royer, Abraham Royer, Isaac Royer, Simon Royer, Jason Royer (Gina), Dustin Royer (Krissy), Shawn Royer(Sarah), Rachelle Royer, Shelly Amerman (Troy), Jennifer Hayes; great-grandchildren, Aron, Kelly, Brooklynne, Bristol, Bronx, Hadley, Reese, Dylan, Lily, Cora, Charlie, Carrington, Aiden, Ryleigh, and Audrie; daughter in law, Teresa Royer of Barstow, IN; a large extended family, including cousins, and sisters in law, Madonna Campbell and Regina Royer. She was always close to the Royer Family.

 

Services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 1:00pm at the Lawson-Miller Chapel with Pastor Doug Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
