Deloris Blubaugh

March 20, 1923  -  December 5, 2022

Deloris Muriel Blubaugh, 99, passed away December 5, 2022 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. Deloris was born to the late Rodney J. Bixler Sr. and Florence May (DeWees) Bixler on March 20, 1923 in Terre Haute.

Deloris was a member of Truth Apostolic Tabernacle for several years. Deloris loved gardening in her flower garden, and she was a very talented quilter. In her free time, she enjoyed word search books, card games, and puzzles.

Deloris is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James R. Blubaugh, two sons, Gilbert L. Blubaugh, and Jimmy Blubaugh, one grandchild, Tammy, siblings, Rodney J. Bixler Jr., Evelyn Mae Bixler, Irma Francis Bixler, David Leon Bixler, George Edward Bixler, Melvin Lee Bixler, Alice Marie Bault and Rosemary Bixler.

Deloris is survived by her children, Steve K. Blubaugh and Barbara S. Butler (James), nine grandchildren, Jeff, Kim, James, Lisa, James, Alaina, Gary, Tonya, and Arthur Jr., many great grandchildren, as well as numerous great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 12th from 11-1 P.M. at French Funeral Home, 421 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Debra Dove will begin at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
