Garry Lee Lowe

SEPTEMBER 1, 1948 – DECEMBER 7, 2022

Garry Lee Lowe, 74, of Fillmore, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

Born September 1, 1948 in Big Rock, Virginia the son of Victor and Evelyn (Hamilton) Lowe.

Garry retired from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department where he served as a Civil Processing Sheriff’s Deputy. He had previously worked at Caterpillar in Indianapolis for several years, as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law Jackie Lowe.

Garry is survived by his wife Cheryl (Cross) Lowe; children Michele (James) Morgan, Shawna (Aaron) Brown, Jason (Rebecca) Lowe, and Amanda Lowe; siblings Annette (Vernie) Bradley, Larrie Lowe, and Terry (Barbara) Lowe; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the New Providence Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until time of service on Monday.
