Fred Carl Moore

MAY 4, 1962 – DECEMBER 16, 2022

Fred Carl Moore, 60, of Greencastle passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Fred was born in Indianapolis Indiana on May 4, 1962, the son of Billy Moore and Betty Lovell, and attended Jennings County High School.

Mr. Moore was a Little League Umpire for District 7, he was also a Baseball and football coach at Christian Park and Community Little League. He was a member of Greenfield Bass Masters and fished with USA Bassin. Fred worked for SSI Services LLC and MPW Environmental Clean-Up for many years. He was also a truck driver with Bee Environmental and Neier Trucking. He dearly loved his family and friends. His friends became family to him.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Carla Moore; eight Children, Paulette Moore, Zackery Moore, (Whitney Harvey), Jeremy Moore, (Deborah), Kyle Dyson, (Samantha), Bradley Moore, (Danielle), Kayla Mann, (David), Rockland Moore, (Catina), and Sabrina Moore, (Charles Webster); 33 grandchildren, Realyn Dodd, Jaslyn Dodd, Sandy Sanford, C. J. Sanford, Nevaeh Moore, Xavier Moore, Abbigail Moore, Alexander Moore, Emmaleigh Moore, Layla Dyson, Reese Alspach-Ray, Morgan Dyson, Anthony Davis, Kylea Starcher, James Starcher, Alexis Starcher, Kylie Moore, Alyssa Moore, Kain Mann, Cory Horner, Caitlyn Moore, Rockland Moore II, Cheyanne Moore, Jaxon Moore, Dalton McKinney, Hunter Brouhard, Curtis Webster, Cambrea Webster, Brycen Webster, Charley Webster, Elizabeth Smith, Rebecca Pineddo and Victoria Fisher; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Fred Carl Moore Jr., and a brother, Neil Moore.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held starting at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Van Bibber Lake Community Building.
