Alice Jane Masten

NOVEMBER 23, 1934 – DECEMBER 21, 2022

Alice J. Masten, 88, of Greencastle, passed away unexpectedly at the Putnam County Hospital on December 21, 2022.

Alice was born south of Bainbridge on November 23, 1934, the daughter of Walter Elsworth and Mary Emma (Sears) Masten. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School.

She was a member of the Bainbridge Christian Church.

Alice worked at IBM in Greencastle for several years and retired from IBM in Florida after the Greencastle plant’s closure.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Emma Jean Masten and Juanita Pearl Masten.

At her request, graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Brick Chapel Cemetery. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements
