Douglas Merle Sefton

FEBRUARY 13, 1955 – JANUARY 10, 2023

Douglas Merle Sefton, 67, of Greencastle passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

Douglas was born in Indianapolis on February 13, 1955, the son of Thomas Emerson and Wanetta Louise (Love) Sefton.

Mr. Sefton was a member of the Church by the Lake, and was a former member of UAW. He worked for Allison Motors in Indianapolis for 13 years until his retirement in 1988. Douglas enjoyed going to church, riding his bicycle, and fishing. You could always find him cleaning up around the community, he loved to help people.

Survivors include his brother Thomas Sefton; his sister, Debra Culbertson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Michael and Jerome Sefton.

The family will plan a Celebration of Life at a later date.
