Charles W. Simon

Charles William Simon, age 83 of Cloverdale passed away January 18th, 2023.
He was born August 19th, 1939 to the late Charles and Beulah (Stanton) Simon.
Charles married Wanda (Brown) Simon June 22nd, 1965 and she survives.
Charles retired from National Starch Chemical in 2002 after 39 years, he was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Cloverdale and the Cloverdale Lions Club.
In addition to his wife Wanda he is also survived by his children Darryl Simon of Lawrenceburg, IN, Leslie Justice (Mike) of Greendale, IN, Gil (Stella) Wheeler of Brownsburg, IN, Joe Wheeler of Franklin, IN, Ky Wheeler of Cloverdale, IN; sisters Barbara Simon, Linda Hancock; grandchildren Stacey Roberson, Brian Wheeler, Marc Wheeler, Nathan Wheeler, Stella Anna Wheeler, Thomas Wheeler, Drew Simon, Tony Frick, Curt Frick, Michael Justice, Cory Simon, Kelli Simon; 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sons Tim Wheeler, David Simon; sisters Zoe Donna Simon, Betty Lieske, Dorothy Moore; brothers John B. Simon, Gordon Simon.
Funeral services for Charles will be held at 1:00 pm Monday January 23rd, 2023 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
