Daniel John Campbell

JUNE 26, 1945 – FEBRUARY 12, 2023

Daniel John Campbell, age 77, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023.

He was born on June 26, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Malcolm and Bernadine (Olecowski) Campbell.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Lizabeth (Truitt) Campbell; 2 children: Amy Tickle and William Smith; 3 grandchildren: Brady, Cassidy, and Devan Tickle; his brother, Arnold Campbell (Betsy); 2 nephews: Andrew and Bryan Campbell; as well as his 5 great nieces and nephews.

Dan was a proud Air Force Veteran and proudly survived his country as Air Force Master Sergeant. He was a member of the American Legion Post 104.

He had a passion for music. Dan enjoyed playing guitar and piano, as well as singing. He also enjoyed fishing. Most of all, he loved to spoil his grandchildren.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life at a later date.
