Marinette Kincaid

April 28, 1931 - February 25, 2023

Marinette Kincaid, 91, of North Salem, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Brownsburg Health Care Center. She was born April 28, 1931, in New Ross, Indiana, one of six children to the late Martin L. and Julia E. (Walters) Kinkead.

On September 10, 1948, she was united in marriage to Albert L. Kincaid in Advance, Indiana. He passed away on November 6, 2019.

Marinette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  She loved raising her family and taking care of the home.  With her caring nature, she happily babysat her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include four children, Marilyn (Ted) Frazier of North Salem, Steve (Pam) Kincaid of North Salem, Karen (John) Kernodle of Jamestown, and Beth (Dave) Alexander of Lizton; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Marinette was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Kinkead, Martha Redman, Julia Wise, Steve Kinkead, and Jean Knox.

Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Porter and Hunt Funeral Home, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jamestown.
