June Simpson, 86, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

Born June 26, 1936 in Cash, Arkansas the daughter of Pete Robertson and Mary Alta (Hewitt) Hunter. She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School.

June retired from Putnam County Comprehensive Services where she had worked in home healthcare for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Phyllis (Jack) Norman; brother, Robert Reynolds; a sister Bonnie Daring and great grandson, Zachery Linden.

June is survived by her children, Donnise (Steve) Kayler, Clifford (Toni) Simpson Jr, Michael (Karen) Simpson, Roberta Keil, Nick (Virginia) Simpson, Chris (Sue) Simpson, and Kevin (Betsy) Simpson, 18 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Cremation services to follow.

The family will receive friends at the funeral on Saturday from 2:00 PM until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of June to the American Cancer Society or the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
