_{Suzanne “Susie” Allen, 88, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023.}

Born June 14, 1934 in Greencastle, the daughter of George F. and Mary Frances (Harris) Glore. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1953” and St. Vincent’s School of Nursing.

Susie had worked as a RN at Putnam County Hospital and for downtown clothing retailers for a number of years. She was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority. Susie loved decorating, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Mary Jane Glore Black, Betty Glore Bloomer, Nancy Glore Brown, Jack Glore, and George Glore.

Susie is survived by her husband, John D. Allen, daughter, Lisa (husband, Mark) Hupfer; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
