Larry L Bonesteel

DECEMBER 27, 1937 – MARCH 16, 2023

Larry Lee Bonesteel, 85, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

Born December 27, 1937 in Robinson, IL, he was the son of Virgil and Alice (Ralston) Bonesteel. Larry was a graduate of Robinson High School and attended Memphis State University.

Larry retired from United Airlines, where he worked in customer service for 43 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lola Rich and a brother, Mervin Bonesteel.

Larry is survived by his wife, Kathleen “Kate” (Deschaine) Bonesteel; sons, Russell (wife, Rhonda) Bonesteel and Kenneth Bonesteel; stepdaughters, Anna (husband, Corey) Lardnois and Diana Nelson; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home.
