Janice Eileen Jester

MAY 11, 1937 – MARCH 19, 2023

Janice Jester of Belle Union went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 19, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Born on May 11, 1937 to Verlin Scott and Dorothy (Call) Scott in Brilliant, OH. Her family moved to the Belle Union area in 1942 and she graduated from Belle Union High School in 1955.

Janice married James Jester on May 25, 1956 and he survives. Janice was a long time homemaker and after her children were grown, she became a floral designer.

During retirement, Janice and James enjoyed many fall stays camping in Branson, MO. At Silver Dollar City Campground, where they met many dear, life-long friends. This is where Janice enjoyed learning new artistic hobbies and crafts.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Marianna Taylor, Sheila Hubble, Matt (Karin) Jester and sister, Betty Wheeler.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, son Mark and sister Dorothy Keller.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church, Coatesville, with Pastor Lew Hunter officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Burial will follow at Walnut Chapter Cemetery.
