Ruth Holt

Ruth Holt, 85, of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023, with her family by her side. 

She was born May 1, 1937, at Kenton, Ohio, to Marvin and Thelma Maggret Long.

Ruth was a member of Whitesville Christian Church. She was married to David “Red” Largent. He preceded her in death in 1992. She then married Robert Holt. He preceded her in death in 2003.

She is survived by her children, Leslie Largent, Donald Largent, Cheryl Largent Wilson, Mary Largent and Jean Largent, all of Crawfordsville; brother Russell Long of Lakeview, Ohio; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma Mussleman, Marilyn Huseman and Wilma Long.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Whitacre officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
