Brandi Nichole Dowden

Brandi Nichole Dowden, 46, of Lafayette passed away after a short battle with cancer Monday, April 3, 2023, with her family by her side.
She was born May 26, 1976, at Lafayette, to Serena and Martin Bresnahan Whitehead and the late John Coddington.
Brandi graduated from the Jacob Smyth Montessori in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
She married Christopher Dowden on Feb. 12, 2014, at Crawfordsville.
Brandi worked as a solderer for Kirby Risk in Lafayette.
She enjoyed crafting, especially cups and T-shirts. She also enjoyed playing open world games on the Playstation and social media but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her children.
Survivors include: husband Chris Dowden of Lafayette; children, Aaron Lutes of Lafayette, Brandon Lutes of Illinois, Tyler Arnold of New Richmond and Abygail Dowden of Lafayette; parents Serena and Martin Whitehead of Lafayette; brother Michael Coddington of Lafayette; and in-laws Tammy and Terry Dowden of Crawfordsville.
She is preceded in death by father John Coddington and sister Shannon Farrell.
A memorial service celebrating Brandi’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 11 at Fisher Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Chuck Callahan officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
