Vicci Sue Winkler

Vicci Sue Winkler, 65, of Paris, Illinois, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Southwood Healthcare. She was born on December 22, 1957, in Terre Haute to Victor Poff, Jr. and Carolyn Sue (Thomas) Poff.
Vicci is survived by her son, Randy Winkler and wife, Holly, of West Terre Haute; grandchildren, Rhyan Dinius and husband, Zachary, Kierstin Winkler, and Caleb Winkler, all of West Terre Haute; brothers, Rick Poff and wife, Debbie of Georgetown, IN, Danny Poff of Birstein, Germany, and Kirby Poff and wife, Patty, of St. Joseph, IL; brother-in-law, Steve Allen of Terre Haute; aunt, Judy Lints and husband, Leroy, of Clay City; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Donna Allen; and an infant brother, Johnny Poff.
Vicci was a 1976 graduate of Terre Haute North High School and attended Harrold’s Beauty Academy. She worked at Columbia House for many years. Vicci also worked at TRW, Providence Center, Southwood Nursing Home, and North American Lighting. She attended Barbour Avenue Church before her health started to decline. Vicci enjoyed a quiet life and also liked to watch television.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, April 14, 2023 in Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Bob Roush officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow from 1 to 3 p.m. at Rick’s Smokehouse.
