Vivian Carol Holman

Vivian Carol Holman, 75, formerly of Jamestown, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home in Elkhart, Indiana, on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She was born on February 2, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Dewey Lee Elam and Dema M. (Miller) Elam.
On June 22, 1963, Vivian was united in marriage to William David Holman in New Richmond, Ohio. They shared 44 loving years together before his passing on December 1, 2007.
She attained an LPN nursing certificate from Ivy Tech Community College in 1986. Vivian was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed going to dinner with her family and friends.
Vivian is survived by her children, Patricia L. Holman, Theodore D. Holman, Vivian L. Burdine and Christopher L. Holman. She was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Vivian was preceded in death by sister, Olive Louise Coldiron; and brother, Billie Kenneth Elam.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana. Family and friends are invited to gather from 12:00 noon until the time of services. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jamestown.
