Teresa McIntire

Teresa Jolene McIntire, 73, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Westside Gardens Assisted Living in Indianapolis. She was born November 4, 1949, in Lebanon, Indiana, a daughter of the late Arvo and Gladys (Fink) Emberton.
On January 22, 1971, she was married to Daniel Edwin McIntire. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2015.
Teresa was a 1968 graduate of Granville Wells High School. She was a member the Church of God of Prophecy in Jamestown.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Teresa loved her family dearly. She enjoyed watching all of her grandkids’ sporting events, shopping, and playing games.
Survivors include four children, Daniel (Denise) McIntire, Jr. of Brownsburg, Kathryn “Kathy” (Jeff) Porter of Brownsburg, Missy (Mark) Peachee of Lebanon, and Kris Petty of Jamestown; grandchildren, Travis Martin of Anderson, Erin McIntire of Jamestown, Alisha Spires of Brownsburg, Austin Peachee of Lebanon, Breanna Trent of Jamestown, Logan Peachee of Lebanon, Caleb McIntire of Brownsburg, Sophie Porter of Brownsburg, and Max Porter of Brownsburg; six great grandchildren; brothers, Jim Emberton and John Emberton; and sister, Mildred Brown.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Teresa was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Emberton and a sister, Delia Boling.
Funeral Services are planned for 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the Porter and Hunt Funeral Home, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jamestown, Indiana.
