Diana Kay Hochstetler

Diana Kay Hochstetler, 75, surrounded by her children, passed away May 27th, 2023. Born May 1st, 1948 to Lucille Crews Walker and Kale Walker in Terre Haute, Indiana. Diana worked all of her life caring for her children and many years with volunteering with her focus on her kids up until her passing. In 1986, she married James Hochstetler whom precedes her in death. Together they had many years of love and laughter sharing the duties of loving her children.

Diana leaves behind her three children, Don Cook, Dewayne Cook, and Stacie Warfuel(Rob). Five grandchildren, Brandy Cobble(Jacob), Kayla Blystone(Brandon), Jordyn Cook(Swade), Sully James Cook, and Finnegan Warfuel. Three great-granchildren, Noah and Jaxon Cobble, and most recent addition Murphy Blystone. Siblings surviving include, Shirley Weaver, Sue Rodgers, and Jack Walker(Kathy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her Bingo sisters, Raylan, Becky and Tiffy.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Helen Weaver(Gene), Betty Jackson(Shot), Dave Walker, Barbara Sears(Bill), and Larry Walker. She was also preceded in death by a special nephew, Terry Sears.

Diana's career choice was to stay at home and raise her children. She was a devoted mother and grandmother until the end. She was most proud of this accomplishment as it filled her heart each day. Her hobbies included playing Bingo, cards, and traveling to the Carolinas to visit her grandchild Finnegan who referred to her as his Nana from Indiana.

The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care received from Dr. Rajendra Desai, for the many years of care provided to Diana. We would also like to recognize the caring staff and wonderful facility at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.

Per Diana's wishes cremation has been chosen. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with her care. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.

We will have a Celebration of Life announced at a later date. All family and friends are invited to attend. Please join us in remembering our wonderful mother
