Anna Sinders
December 6, 1939 - June 2, 2023
Anna Lorena Sinders, 83, passed away June 2, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Anna was born to the late Marvin Dean Booe Sr. and Mary Frances (Parkhurst) Curtis on December 6, 1939 in Spencer, Indiana.
Anna graduated from Riley High School in 1957. After high school, she graduated from Indiana State Teachers College. She began her teaching career in Madison, Indiana. After teaching for one year in Madison, she began teaching at Clay City High School and then Coal City Elementary. After her teaching career she began working for Dyer-Hill Insurance where she worked until her retirement. On September 6, 1964, Anna married the love of her life, Estel Sinders, at World Gospel Church.
Faith was important to Anna, she attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Anna was very dedicated to the senior ladies at Good Hope Baptist Church where she would visit and take care packages to the women. Anna was later a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Jasonville. Anna and Estel would often host missionaries in their home. Anna loved to read and most importantly, enjoyed spending time with her family.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents.
Anna is survived by her husband, Estel, two children, Nancy Ezell (Michael), Diana Sinders, seven grandchildren, Amelia, Adam, Ashley, Anna, Alexander, Alicia, and Logan, one great grandchild, Marianna, six brothers, Bill Booe (Peggy), Jim Booe (Polly), Richard Booe (Kathy), George Cesinger (Patty), Gene Cesinger (Vicky), and Jerry Cesinger, as well as many extended family members.
A visitation will be held, Saturday June 10th from 10-11 A.M. at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 9251 IN 59 Jasonville, Indiana 47438. A funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Sink Cemetery.
