Tina M. Lovett

August 21, 1959  -  June 17, 2023

Tina Marie Lovett, 63, passed away on June 17, 2023 surrounded by her family. Tina was born to the late James and Patricia (Chapman) Cass on August 21, 1959 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

On September 9, 1975, Tina married the love of her life, Steve Lovett who preceded her in death in 2021. Tina worked as the head of housekeeping at Clay County Health Center for 19 years, retiring in the early 2000’s. Tina and Steve were members of Truth Apostolic Tabernacle of Brazil. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great babies. She enjoyed going to Goodwill, yard sales, watching the Price is Right and Let’s Make a Deal, and camping. She loved helping others and would give you her last dollar. In the summertime, she loved sitting on her porch and watching the birds and enjoying the outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Vicki Nevins, a nephew, Derek Nevins, brothers and sisters in law, Joe and Sue Lovett and Sue and Merrill Weir.

She is survived by her children, Jeannie Marie Lovett, Steven Lovett Jr. (Kathy), Dennis Lovett (Michelle), Bryan Lovett, John Lovett, the baby boy, and bonus son, Brian Erwin (Jenn). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and soon to be 15 great grandchildren, four sisters, Kathy Targett, Janet Wells, Lori Cass, and Marla Smiley, one sister-in-law, Debra Dove (Tim) and two brothers in law, Dennis Lovett and Bryan Lovett (Deborah), a special friend and caregiver, “Aunt Deb” Debbie Duncan, and her best friends and beloved dogs, Gracie and Petey, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 23rd from 2-4 P.M. at French Funeral Home, 421 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service officiated by Sister Debra Dove will begin at 4 P.M.
