Gary A. Rodgers

Gary A. Rodgers, 71, of Cloverland, Indiana, passed away at his home on June 17, 2023.

Gary was born on March 21, 1952, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of William and Betty (Hoskins) Rodgers. Gary graduated from Staunton High School with the class of 1970. He married Cathy L. Fagg on December 20, 1970. He attended Indiana State University for 3 years. Gary worked as a Union Carpenter until retirement.

Gary enjoyed building and racing remote-controlled cars, attending gun shows, telling corny jokes, BUT he absolutely loved playing tennis all of his adult life.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, William Rodgers; his sister Lana Metzger and brother Steven Rodgers.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years Cathy; his mother Betty Rodgers; son Brian (Amanda) Rodgers and two granddogs; Jean Luc and Pippin; brothers and sisters-in-law; Byron (RuthE) Fagg, Joanie (Jack) Mitchell, Amy (Kip) Finchum, Jamie (Bob) Treash, David Felling; and Auntie Mary (Steve) Youtz; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
