Ruth N. Armstrong

May 10, 1927  -  June 25, 2023

Ruth N. Armstrong age 96, of Brazil passed away peacefully at home on June 25, 2023. She was born to Emmanuel and Ellen Thomas. Ruth had three brothers, Tom, Bob, and Bill Thomas, two sisters, Mary Pickett and Norma Morlan who all preceded her in death.

Ruth married Thomas E. Armstrong in 1947. They had one child, Thomas D. Armstrong.

Ruth worked for Hooks/CVS for over 30 years, starting at the soda fountain.

Survivors are her son, Thomas and his wife Elissa (Paullus) Armstrong, one grandson, Brian Armstrong, and his wife Misty of Center Point, five great grandchildren, Tyler Armstrong and Cody Armstrong of Brazil, Bryan Bell, and his wife Alex of Brazil, Tori Armstrong Cheek and her husband Konner, Jase Armstrong and his wife Jade of Alabama, and nine great great grandchildren.

Interment will be private at Calcutta Cemetery.
