Mike Halford

April 9, 1954 - July 7, 2023

Michael Gene Halford, 69, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023, in Montgomery County, Indiana.  He was born April 9, 1954 in Lebanon, Indiana, a son of the late Eddie L. and Norma J. (Abney) Halford.           

Mike was a 1973 graduate of Granville Wells High School. He worked various jobs revolving around commercial construction.  Mike enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars. He was a loving father and grandfather.

Survivors include two children, Heather (Nicholas) McKinney of New Ross and Corey M. Halford of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Britney (Devin) Ingram of Arkansas and Dakota Gifford of Arkansas; brother, Dennis (Janet) Halford of Crawfordsville; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Halford of Lebanon.        

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Halford and Bobby Halford.      

A Memorial Service is planned for 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Porter and Hunt Funeral Home, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
